Premium Auditor Positions

The auditor will schedule and conduct Premium Audits in a specified geographic territory or via telephone and workflow system based upon the method of audit dictated by our customers. The experienced Auditor will use territory organization, scheduling experience, accounting skills and business experience to do audits of varying complexity.

The Auditor will work independently to meet with company contacts to conduct insurance premium audits, and will develop high quality, accurate audit reports based on on-site visits (or customer accepted telephone visits) and examination of insureds' payroll, tax, and accounting records.

Premium Audit assignments and completed audit reports must follow NCCI and ISO Manual Rules, except where deviation is allowed by client or state exemption. The audits will be completed within our GISA workflow system.

Requirements

Qualified candidates for this position must have:

• A laptop computer, Internet access, and reliable transportation with current vehicle insurance coverage
• Accounting experience, knowledge of payroll processing, and good interviewing skills
• 1-3 years of Premium Audit experience or relevant accounting experience
• The ability to organize and manage a geographic territory of physical audit assignments and/or verified audit assignments
• The skills needed to efficiently meet with customers and achieve quality and time-service guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management and problem-solving ability
• Computer knowledge, MS Word and Excel skills, and experience with email, .pdf files and the Internet
• The motivation to work independently from home, with an effective home-office set-up
• Insurance Industry and Premium Audit Designations (such as APA, CIPA) are a plus
