George Dell
Property & Casualty | Premium Audit Specialist
George received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Knox College. He has over 25 years of experience in the Property & Casualty and Excess & Surplus lines markets; serving in a variety of underwriting positions for major insurance companies including CNA Insurance, Fireman’s Fund Insurance, and Zurich Insurance. During his career he has included special focus on high rise habitational and entertainment risks including "amusement" and "inflatable" programs. He has also spent several years training and mentoring underwriters. In 2013, George joined our Quality & Training Department as a Property & Casualty Specialist. He works in both our Inspection / Loss Control and Premium Audit areas performing QC review and staff training.
Robert Majeski, CSP
Loss Control Specialist
Bob has been in the safety and loss control industry for over 30 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Fire Safety from Lewis University. He holds the CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation. Bob has served in several Director and Vice President level positions in loss control with companies including Aon Corporation, Muirfield Underwriters, Virginia Surety Company and Am Trust North America. He has also been active with several organizations that include the Society of Casualty Safety Engineers (SCSE), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Northeastern Illinois Chapter ASSP. With a strong background in safety & health, train the trainer programs, and safety program enhancement, Bob joined MTI’s Quality & Training department in 2010 as a Loss Control Specialist. Bob handles the analysis, consulting, and review of many loss control projects. In addition, he provides staff training and mentoring and works in the field conducting on-site loss control surveys.
Lisa Maki
Premium Audit Manager
After earning an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies, Lisa began her career in the insurance industry as a compliance officer responsible for corporate compliance, including staff accountant preparation of statutory financial statements and managing asset reserves and unclaimed funds. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Law and a minor in History from the University of North Florida. She entered her premium audit career as a field auditor and audit reviewer; specializing in large premium worker's compensation audits and U.S. Longshore & Harbors (USL&H) coverage policies. She is an active member of the National Society of Insurance Premium Auditors (NSIPA), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW); and past president, board member and blog editor for the Insurance Auditor’s Association of the Southeast (IAASE). Lisa joined MTI in 2021 and has assumed the role of Audit Manager responsible for the daily functions of the Premium Audit Department; working closely with internal sales staff, clients and auditors.
Aaron York
Quality & Training Manager
Aaron joined MTI in 2004 as a Field Manager completing all lines of inspections and later, as a Regional Manager, working with 50 inspectors. Aaron joined our Quality & Training Department in 2006 being responsible for providing individualized field training to new representatives in addition to holding group virtual training sessions on a weekly basis. He also crosses departments as he has over 7 years direct Premium Audit experience. Prior to MTI, Aaron was a high-end retail Store Manager working intimately with the public within a consultative sales-driven environment. He also developed future store management candidates from the ranks of the sales team. Aaron has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University with majors in Hotel, Restaurant, and Resort Management, Marketing Management, and Business Management. He has also completed a 24-hour, OSHA compliance course through the National Safety Council. He continues his education by regularly attending industry seminars through organizations such as OSHA, Harwood Grant Seminars, and the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC).
