Doug Bennett
Quality & Training Manager
Doug joined MTI in 2002 as a Field Manager completing all lines of inspections and later, as a Regional Manager, working with 50 inspectors. Doug joined our Quality & Training Department in 2006 being responsible for enhancing our commercial lines manuals and training materials and providing virtual and live training for all levels of MTI employees; including Field Inspectors, QA Reviewers, Sales Staff, and Management. For our customers, Doug trains Underwriters, Field Staff, and Underwriting Managers. Some of his training projects include in-person classes across the U.S. for 500+ staff of a top 30 insurance carrier and presentations at NAMIC and ILCA. Prior to MTI, Doug was an educator and a residential, remodeling carpenter. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and continues his professional education by regularly attending industry events such as the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) / Northern Illinois University (NIU) - Safety Conferences, OSHA - Harwood Grant Seminars, National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) - Farm Schools, and the Mutual Loss Prevention Association (MLPA) - Modular Home Seminar.
Dawn Boisvert
Property & Casualty Specialist
Dawn earned her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Illinois State University in 1992. She started her career with Great American Insurance as a Safety Specialist and then served in various loss control positions with American International Group, Mack & Parker, Inc., and Argonaut Insurance Company. During her tenure, she included special focus on the manufacturing sector providing training programs. Dawn joined our Quality & Training Department in 2013 as a Property & Casualty Specialist. She performs QC review on specialty Property & Casualty accounts, staff training, and conducts on-site loss control and inspection surveys.
George Dell
Property & Casualty | Premium Audit Specialist
George received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Knox College. He has over 25 years of experience in the Property & Casualty and Excess & Surplus lines markets; serving in a variety of underwriting positions for major insurance companies including CNA Insurance, Fireman’s Fund Insurance, and Zurich Insurance. During his career he has included special focus on high rise habitational and entertainment risks including "amusement" and "inflatable" programs. He has also spent several years training and mentoring underwriters. In 2013, George joined our Quality & Training Department as a Property & Casualty Specialist. He works in both our Inspection / Loss Control and Premium Audit areas performing QC review and staff training.
James Fadigan
Sr. Premium Auditor
Jim received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph University and started his Premium Audit career in 1988 with PMA Insurance. He worked for PMA for 25 years holding positions as Premium Auditor, Senior Premium Auditor, and Premium Audit Supervisor. For 5 years, he served on the PAAS Workers Compensation Educational Panel reviewing and updating bulletins and training manuals. Jim joined MTI in 2015 and is currently based just north of Philadelphia, PA, working in the upper portion of the Mid-Atlantic Region. In addition to handling many of our large and more complex audits, Jim assists in the development, mentoring, and continued training of new auditors.
Robert Majeski, CSP
Loss Control Specialist
Bob has been in the safety and loss control industry for over 25 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Fire Safety from Lewis University. He holds the CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation. Bob has served in several Director and Vice President level positions in loss control with companies including Aon Corporation, Muirfield Underwriters, Virginia Surety Company and Am Trust North America. He has also been active with several organizations that include the Society of Casualty and Safety Engineers (SCSE), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Northeastern Illinois Chapter ASSE. With a strong background in safety & health, train the trainer programs, and safety program enhancement, Bob joined MTI’s Quality & Training department in 2010 as a Loss Control Specialist. Bob handles the analysis, consulting, and review of many loss control projects. In addition, he provides staff training and mentoring and works in the field conducting on-site loss control surveys.
Robert Marik Jr.
Sr. Premium Audit Manager
Bob received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Loyola University. Bob has over 25 years of Premium Audit experience with both large insurance carriers and audit vendors. He started his career as a Premium Auditor completing worker’s compensation and liability audits. Bob has served in a variety of positions including Audit Manager for both a regional and a nationwide audit service vendor and most recently, National Premium Audit Manager for the second largest Japanese insurance company in the world, Mitsui Sumitomo Marine Management USA. During his tenure with Mitsui, Bob was the primary auditor for all large multi-national accounts. Bob has vast experience with the test audit programs in CA, DE, NJ, NY, and PA. Bob joined MTI In 2015. As the Sr. Premium Audit Manager he directs the development of auditor and Quality and Training department staff, works with our customers implementing their specific audit guidelines, and reviews specialty accounts. Bob has been an active member of the PAAS Worker’s Compensation Advisory Panel since 2007.
Peter Pisano
Sr. Operations / Safety Consultants (MTSC) Manager
Pete joined MTI in 2005 after 15 years in Senior Management for manufacturing and distribution companies. His background in insurance management began on the client side, with responsibilities overseeing the management and safety of employees in multi-functional business locations and negotiation and implementation of Property, Casualty and Group Health insurance. Pete has a BS in Business Administration from Elmhurst College and certification as a Professional in Human Resources. He manages the operations of our Midwest Technical Safety Consultants (MTSC) as well as assisting the Director of Operations with day to day functions at MTI.
