"Having worked with Midwest Technical and maintaining a solid working relationship for over 20 years speaks to the integrity and professionalism that MTI offers.  You only maintain that long of a business relationship when you can rely on a firm that offers quality service along with a personal relationship to their customers.  We have relied on MTI to provide audits, inspections, loss control services and various other commercial reports in our many states and they were instrumental in helping us with managing our automation workflow needs through their GISA system.  MTI truly offers high quality service and high quality associates."

- Mike Martin,
Vice President Commercial Lines Underwriting,
Auto Owners Insurance Company

Training | Expanding our Business to Business Relationships

Training Auto Owners Insurance Company was looking to increase their capacity to inspect their Workers Compensation exposures and streamline their ordering process for multi-line inspections. As an existing business-to-business partner, they enlisted the help of MTI to help address these concerns. MTI was happy to expand our relationship and combined our field expertise with our training services to create a Workers Compensation program tailored to their needs.

We developed a series of customized on-site, in-person training courses to help educate their Underwriting Teams throughout several regional offices. All the while, our WC certified field inspectors were able to meet the client’s service demands countrywide. Combining all our training courses, we have to date successfully trained over 500 Auto Owners Managers, Underwriters, Field Representatives and support staff.

Systems | Customizing to Meet our Clients Changing Needs

Government Services While MTI boasts our GISA platform as a customer workflow system, the dynamics of the industry sometimes require MTI to adapt to client based systems. In 2013 Philadelphia Insurance came to us with the opportunity to provide Loss Control services. This required MTI to facilitate the work process on a commercially offered internet based system that Philadelphia is currently utilizing. Having worked on other commercially available systems for other clients, the training session was very short and the learning curve was minimal. MTI was up and running on the system the very same week with no disruption to Philadelphia’s workflow.

Additionally, AmRisc, one of our long term customers, was ready to unveil their own internal web based system with portals for both an administrator and field representative. MTI was able to help beta test the system and leverage our experience and expertise to help develop solutions prior to being launched. By involving MTI, our client was able to ensure a smooth roll out of their system with no major problems in the process.

Partner | Direct Source for Risk Control

Safety Consulting In October of 2011, MTI was contacted by Arlington Roe Insurance Company to assist them with one of their accounts. The management team from one of their insureds, a company providing resins and additives for the powder coating industry, requested additional guidance and risk control. Knowing our capabilities to provide these types of escalated services, Arlington Roe put them in direct contact with Midwest Technical. With MTI, management discussed their concerns with the health and safety of their employees and surroundings and wanted to ensure that they were in compliance with standards set forth by the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

One of our Safety consultants was sent to the facility for a risk assessment focusing solely on employee safety. The consultation generated recommendations and implementation strategies for management to supplement their already robust safety program. In addition to providing Arlington Roe with a direct source for on-going risk control services for their customer, the insured benefited from an increased awareness of the necessary measures to help control the risk within their facility.
